Hi there, and welcome! I am so incredibly glad you found your way to this little corner of the internet. If you’ve ever felt like you’re running a marathon with no finish line in sight, or if your morning coffee is the only thing keeping you anchored, you are in the right place.
This space was born out of a deep understanding of what it means to be utterly, deeply exhausted—and the beautiful, quiet journey of learning how to breathe again.
The Classroom and the Chaos
For years, my life was defined by two incredibly rewarding, yet profoundly draining roles: pouring my heart into my students as a teacher, and pouring whatever was left into my family as a single mom.
I loved my students, and I adored my family, but the truth is? I was operating on absolute zero.
The Teacher Burnout: The endless grading, the emotional weight of supporting dozens of children, and the constant pressure to give 110% every single day left me feeling completely hollowed out.
The Single Mom Exhaustion: Coming home didn’t mean resting; it meant switching gears to a whole new set of demands. The mental load of managing a household solo meant my mind never, ever stopped racing.
I was standard-issue burned out. I was tired in a way that sleep couldn’t fix, constantly giving pieces of myself away until there was barely anything left.
The Turning Point: Finding the Quiet
When you hit rock bottom, you start looking for lifelines. For me, that lifeline was meditation.
I’ll be honest: at first, the idea of sitting still with my thoughts felt impossible. My brain was a chaotic workspace of to-do lists and lingering anxieties. But I committed to just a few minutes a day. Slowly, the noise began to quiet down.
Meditation didn’t magically change my external circumstances—the laundry still piled up, and the school days were still busy—but it fundamentally changed me. It gave me a pause button. It taught me how to anchor myself in the present moment, transforming my daily overwhelm into a sustainable, grounded sense of peace.
My Wish for You
I created this website because I know how lonely and heavy that level of exhaustion feels, and I don’t want you to have to navigate it alone. You don’t have to completely upend your life to find balance; sometimes, you just need a safe space to lower your shoulders and take a breath.
Our Mission
My deepest wish is for this space to be a sanctuary for you. Whether you have two minutes or twenty, I hope you find quiet relief from the noise of the world and a spark of calm energy to carry you through the rest of your day.
Thank you for being here, for investing in yourself, and for sharing this journey with me. Take a deep breath—you’ve got this, and we’ve got you.
